Well I brought my 180 home yesterday and that thing is huge. I can't wait to see this beast in my living room.

I guess it's a good thing that Wendy wanted the 180 as bad as I do. At least that's what I told her Wink

We got into this hobby together and have wanted a 180 since we started but had to settle for the 75 at the time.

Whoa. Biiiig tank. I take it this was used? I see some dried
coraline on the overflows. Just call me Captain Observant. Wink

So it's been six hours since you posted it, where's the pics of it filled with sand and rocks?

USED??? I WAS TOLD IT WAS NEW!!

J/K Smile it is very used but in good condition Smile
I've got to rebuild the stand so it's going to be a little while before it sees any water.
The overflows have coraline and dead corl all over them and the one on the left has some fins broken off. I'm not sure if I'm going to replace it or just leave it. I have the one from that busted 90 that I got from James.

when i set up my tank (roughly a 180) i thought it was huge

corals grow fast and dwarf any tank quick

my advice... stock it with room for the corals to grow in... otherwise you will end up pruning your jungle weekly like me Sad

Are you going to DIY a canopy?
What a beast of a tank. Then a 75g is big to me.

I think I'm going to redo the canopy that I started to make for my 75.
and it looks like my 75 will be a sump not sure yet.
I like the way Ryan has his set up. I was hoping he would finish his and work out all the bugs so I can copy his. Wink

I've already helped pay his car payment, when the 180 is setup I might get a mortgage payment from him. Smile or Sad depending on how you look at it.
