November/December Pic of the Month Submissions

*Please note: due to few submissions for the November contest, we have combined the November and December contest.

Rules for the POTM contest...

Each photo must include a short description of the photo (i.e., "Blue Zoos") but should not include member names (i.e., do not use "GettingFeisty about Blue Zoos" Wink

)

Ideally, photos should be no greater than 800x800 pixels (640x480 pixels is preferred). Posting larger photos makes viewing difficult and the winning photo is reduced to less than 300x300 for our homepage.

Submit as many pictures as you like, but realize it could inadvertently reduce your odds.

The photo must be yours - please don't steal photos.

A maximum of 1 photo per person will be chosen to represent the final choices.

The Zookeepers each pick their favorite photos.

From that list - the final choices are represented.

The member monkeys vote on their favorite.

Submission deadline is November 20th. Any submissions made after 11:59 PM on the 20th will have to be resubmitted the following month.

Additionally, it would be nice if posters would also note what type of camera they are using, what type of tank lighting is in use during the photo, etc. This is not necessary, but your fellow ReefMonkeys appreciate the information.

Don't forget, the new deadline is November 20th.
