I am new to the saltwater world and I bought a 9 gallon ehiem cube. I have about 10lbs of live rock I there and a Kenya tree... I really would love to get some fish in there but need help with stocking. I would love your personal preference. If this was your tank what would you stock it with?

If it were mine, I would skip the fish and go with interesting invertebrates. A Coral Banded Shrimp perhaps? A Sally Lightfoot crab? Maybe a few interesting seastars?

That - or I'd consider looking for a pistol/Gobie pair.

Yasha Hasa Gobie paired with a pistol shrimp would be great in a little tank.

Edit: skip the seastars.... They'd starve in a tank that small...

I also agree with the shrimp and goby combo mentioned above!

Easy to care for and if you make their little cave facing forward, you can watch for hours

If I had that tank, then I will add some goby fish, some angelfish, clownfish and many more. Their presence make the aquarium more lively and beautiful.
