Just got in a box of Walt Smith Fiji Premium Live Rock to beef up the upgrade some. The smallest piece was about the size of a softball and the largest was Im guessing 8-10lbs. There was a little macro algea on a couple pieces, not sure what kind yet, but Ill scrub that off in a day or 2. The coralline was mostly orange, red and purple, just a bit of green on one piece. It was cured but Ill leave it in QT for a couple weeks just to be safe. Anyway, Im pretty happy with it, gotta give it a thumbs up.

I got a box to add to my tank when I upgraded as my seed rock and loved it. Congrats. Glad you got it without too many problems. Mine sat at Fedex for a couple of days because they screwed up. That would have been disastrous for you, LOL.

Smile Funny you should mention hold ups...we had fog all day yesterday with no flights so this was in shipment for 3 days. I had a few dozen trochus snails in there too and believe it or not all the snails were alive but 1 so far. One of the bags had busted from rough handleing looks like with about 12 snails in it, no water in the bag yet 11 were alive. Pretty incredible, I had written them off last night, tough buggers.

It was beautiful all last week and the day I made the order here comes the fog. Couple hrs after the flight landed it socked in again.
Aint it fun living on the coast?

I get lots of pretty orange corraline on my rock, but only where there is no light. Kind of a bummer when you dig a piece out of the sand and it's covered with orange, that fades in a day or two after you expose it to light. Grrrrrr.
